Аннотация: «American Journal of Pedagogy and Education» is scholarly, independently and anonymously peer-reviewed journal that focuses on issues and trends in pedagogies and learning in local and global contexts and leadership in educational research. The aim of the journal is to publish high quality research that focuses on the essence of pedagogy and learning and related issues and trends. While stimulating discussion of authoritative and emerging pedagogies and forms of learning, it will encourage the sharing of ideas that contribute to the transformation of contemporary conceptions of pedagogy and learning in order to reshape and revitalise educational provision from the perspectives of educators and learners alike. These ideas are intended to be simultaneously anchored in local, regional and national contexts and to be international and transnational in intent and impact. «American Journal of Pedagogy and Education» examines the relationship between educational policy and educational practice, and deals with education theory and research and their implications for educational life, while shedding new light on important debates and controversies within the field. There is also given an assessment of state of Russia’s readiness to create a knowledge society. This book is a study of persons and problems of classical European and Middle Eastern («Mediterranean») philosophy from pre-philosophical world-outlook to interpretations of philosophy and Science by Comte, Mill and Spencer. The study covers all the main ideas of prominent thinkers, together with the most important facts and factors which pertain to civilization and culture. These facts are indispensable for grasping the integrity and depth of philosophical development in the works of key philosophical thinkers. In contrast with many courses in history of philosophy which treat the subject by way of merely empirical description or show the lack or vagueness of methodology, this course is designed to disclose the unity of philosophical doctrines and conceptions across centuries and millennia of the basis of subjectobject paradigm. Stylistic clarity and lapidary narration make this work accessible to all the readers of philosophy, but especially to those interested in the in-depth understanding of its development.
